classes & courses

A regular yoga practice helps us learn about ourselves. Over time, we re-discover the capacity of our bodies to move well, and of our minds to pay attention. We get better at being present. If you want to go deeply into the practices of yoga, to work with yourself intelligently, and compassionately, and to find ways of taking yoga off the mat and into daily life, these classes are for you!

Yoga Days and Workshops

Date: Spring 2019 : Saturday 27 April
Theme: Living from your Feminine Power - Renewal
Suitable for Women at all stages and ages.  We warmly welcome both those who have already done some Living from your Feminine Power workshops, and those who are new to this way of working.  No previous yoga experience is required.
Time: 10am-5pm
Venue: Frankie's Yoga Studio, Slad Road, Stroud
Cost: £65 earlybird (by 1 March), or £75
Bring: Vegetarian lunch to share

This is a day for women to work with the energy of Spring in a safe and supportive space.  Just as in the natural world Springtime brings new growth, so in the inner world we can nurture our own tender shoots of renewal. We will be deepening the connection with ourselves, retrieving our gifts, and finding renewed purpose in being here on earth. We will draw on prentatal and birth psychology, the teaching of Red School (women's cycle awarness and self-care), and creative/somatic ways of working to support the journey.  This will include yoga practice with me to help embody and integrate the work.

If you'd like more info about this way of working, please do get in touch.

For future yoga days - the next yoga day will be Saturday 2 March 2019.

Contact me to book a place, to suggest a topic for future days, or for more information.

Previous topics have included: Working with the Chakras, Yoga and the Elements, Discovering the Koshas, Are you Sitting Comfortably, Coming to our Senses, The Heart Space, Yoga for the Darkest Nights, Spring Cleanse, Springing into Spring, Letting go into Autumn, Working with the Mantra OM, Developing a Personal Practice,Yoga & Mindfulness, My Friend the Breath.

I am open to requests for future subjects/themes you would like to focus on.  Contact me here to make a suggestion.
